The Holocaust Filmography is a comprehensive database of films and audiovisual productions dealing with the Holocaust, including documentaries, feature films, and experimental works. It is based on the pioneering filmography Cinematographie des Holocaust, initiated in 1992 by Ronny Loewy at the Fritz Bauer Institute. Following Loewy's death in 2012, the project was discontinued.

During and after the EU Horizon 2020 project Visual History of the Holocaust, a team from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF updated, expanded, and consolidated the database. Since 2023, the DFF – Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum, the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Digital History (Vienna) have jointly hosted the annual conference of the Holocaust Filmography Working Group (AG).

Since 2024, the filmography has been updated on a regular basis. Beginning in autumn 2025, it will be made available through the Zentrum jüdischer Film, as the original database is no longer accessible due to an ongoing legal dispute.
